MECHANICAL ENGINEERING INTERNSHIP
TokenWorks Internship
TokenWorks Inc. · Bronxville, NY
May 2026 – August 2026
During this internship, I actively worked on 3D printing, assembly, and engineering documentation for multiple TokenWorks ID Scanners. As part of a month-long project, I created and modified product assembly guides, repair protocols, and detailed BOMs to thoroughly document production operations. I worked on assembly and programming of the IDWedgeKB, AgeVisor 2 and 3, IDVisor 2 and 3, and IDentiFake models. By the end of this project, I was able to increase our documentation from around 40% to 96% and created an internal operations website for easy access to these resources.
In the picture below, I am holding a prototype for a mobile version of our IDentiFake system, which we developed to take forensic ID scans on the go. Over the course of my internship, I helped bring this device from an initial concept to a fully functional, field-ready prototype. Seeing how subtle mechanical refinements directly improved the system's ergonomics and functionality gave me a true appreciation for the engineering design process.

Internship overview
The month-long documentation project brought assembly instructions, repair procedures, and bills of materials together to support production operations. Alongside 3D printing and assembly work, I organized these resources into an internal operations website so they were easy to access.
